Prolific Prep is located in Napa Valley, California and is the basketball side (game-style practices, basketball development and athletic training) of Napa Christian which is the accredited high school and academic partner of Prolific Prep. Prolific Prep’s goal is to help their players get recruited to play basketball at the college level as well as providing college-preparatory education for the players so they can reach their fullest potential.

Prolific Prep has named Joey Fuca as the next boy’s basketball head coach. He led the team to 31 wins in his first season as head coach for the team. Joey most recently coached Lakeshow AAU program that was started by him and his father Joe. Lakeshow AAU has had many players play basketball at the collegiate level over the years. I was the team manager of The Master’s University Mustangs in the GSAC in NAIA DI from 2010-14 and Joey was the starting point guard on the Mustangs during my freshman season.

As a Mustang, Joey averaged 9.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.1 blocks while shooting 42.3% from the field, 39.1% from deep and 76.2% from the free throw line per game. He scored 1,135 points, grabbed 374 rebounds, dished out 418 assists, had 127 steals, blocked 6 shots and made 126 threes as a Mustang. I am excited to continue to follow Coach Fuca and Prolific Prep.
