Jeff Berokoff is the head coach of the Pacifica Christian High School of OC Tritons in Newport Beach, California. He played 2 seasons for the San Diego State University Aztecs and 2 seasons for the California Baptist University Lancers. He also coached the AAU team called Los Angeles Rockfish for 12 years. In sharing advice with me, coach Berokoff wrote, “Love your players, invest in their lives daily, and most importantly teach them about how to be a great person. Prepare them for the next 20 years, not for the next game.”
