Cevin Meador is an assistant coach for the CSUMB Otters in Seaside, California in the CCAA in NCAA DII coached by Isaac Williams. He was a team manager for the Boise State University Broncos in Boise, Idaho in the Mountain West Conference in NCAA DI and then he was an assistant coach under head coach Isaac Williams for the Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers in La Grande, Oregon in NAIA DII.

In sharing about his time as a team manager, Cevin Meador wrote, “During Practice: My 2nd and 3rd year I was the head manager so I was mostly in charge of assigning roles and making sure everyone understood the expectation. When I wasn’t on the court I would be responsibly for filming practice using XOS (our filming software). Generally it would be making sure floor was swept, balls/pads were out and coaches had what they needed. For a few weeks I had to bring a 3’ x 6’ mirror out to practice everyday so if a guy made a mistake they would have to go look at themselves in the mirror (haha)

Gamedays: I was responsible for preparing all film necessary for the coaches leading up to each game for scouting purposes. I also had to make sure each coach had their preferred beverage of choice and that it was labeled with their name and placed under their appropriate chair before the game started. Coach Rice always wanted an X taped on his chair so he knew exactly what chair was his. Other than that I would be available to rebound as much as I could during the day and make sure video was ready to go so that would could edit the film while it was being played.”
