I’D LIKE TO THANK CHRIS COFFEY WHO IS NOW A PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYER AND WHO WAS THE MID-SOUTH CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AND NAIA PLAYER OF THE YEAR AS A SENIOR FOR THE GEORGETOWN COLLEGE TIGERS IN GEORGETOWN, KENTUCKY IN THE MID-SOUTH CONFERENCE IN NAIA COACHED BY CHRIS BRIGGS FOR SHARING ADVICE FOR YOUNG PLAYERS WITH THE CANNON NETWORK. CHRIS COFFEY SHARED, “YOUNG PLAYERS ONE THING I WANT TO SAY TO YOUNG PLAYERS IS FOR THEM TO BE THEMSELVES!!! DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE NEXT MAN! EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN PATH! EVEN WITH TEAMMATES YOUR TEAMMATES CAN BE NBA POTENTIAL BUT THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. YOU MAY NOT BE NBA POTENTIAL BUT THAT DON’T MEAN YOU CAN’T GO BE GREAT IN ANOTHER LEAGUE, THEN MAYBE WORK YOU WAY INTO THE LEAGUE! MY MAIN POINT IS, YOU SHOULDN’T BE WORRIED ABOUT THE NEXT MAN, DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO, TO GET YOURSELF TO A POINT WHERE YOUR CONFIDENT TO DO WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR DREAM AND LIFESTYLE YOU WANT REALITY! A LOT OF DREAMS GO DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE PLAYERS BELIEVE THEY SHOULD BE SOMEWHERE THEIR NOT AT YET! KNOW IF YOU DO WHAT YOU KNOW HOW TO DO AND PLAY YOUR GAME EVERYTHING WILL FALL IN PLACE!!”
