I appreciate the advice that has been shared with The Cannon Network from coaches and players around the country. Brandon Rosenthal is an assistant coach for the Arizona State University Sun Devils in Tempe, Arizona in the Pac-12 Conference in NCAA DI coached by Bobby Hurley. Brandon has shared advice for young coaches with The Cannon Network as well by writing, “This profession is about persevering, focusing, believing, and preparing yourself. Greatness is the result of practicing these habits over and over again no matter the environment and situation. To persevere means to embrace challenges and look at them as opportunities to learn and grow. To focus means you’re present and in the moment with any task. You’re not looking too far ahead, you’re two feet in right where you’re supposed to be. To believe means there is always a way forward and a solution to your problem. You just have to keep working for the right or best solution. Finally, to prepare means you’ve put in the work, now it’s time to trust your instincts and perform with confidence and joy. Love what you do and do it to the best of your ability every single day and you’ll accomplish all your goals and dreams. Greatness is just on the other side of your next test.” Brandon’s coaching career includes time with the Santa Clara University Broncos and Phoenix Suns.
