He has scored 489 points, grabbed 176 rebounds, dished out 122 assists, had 38 steals, blocked 7 shots and made 43 threes with these teams.
In sharing advice with me, Shannon shared, “In life just like with A Basketball Game you’ll have times where things aren’t going your way. My advice to young guys is to block out all the noise, and work on your game. What do you mean? “Block out all the noise”… I say that to say if you’re ranked not ranked, on YouTube, not on YouTube. Whatever the case may be, you can still achieve whatever you want to achieve. It will take discipline, hard work, and focus. Steph Curry and Dane Lillard weren’t highly touted coming out of HS but their the top two PGs in the NBA. Why? They WORKED on their game when nobody was watching. So my advice to young players is to not worried about the rankings and or if their known. Your game will speak for you and let that separate you.” -Shannon Shorter 8 Seasons Professional Basketball Player.
