CLAY CONNER IS THE DIRECTOR OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PENN STATE NITTANY LIONS IN UNIVERSITY PARK, PENNSYLVANIA IN THE BIG TEN CONFERENCE IN NCAA DI COACHED BY MIKE RHOADES. CLAY PLAYED FOR THE SHIPPENSBURG UNIVERSITY RAIDERS WHEN HE HELPED THE RAIDERS MAKE A SWEET 16 APPEARANCE IN THE NCAA DII MEN’S BASKETBALL NATIONAL TOURNAMENT IN THE 2018 CAMPAIGN. AS A MEMBER OF THE RAIDERS, HE AVERAGED 5.5 POINTS, 1.3 REBOUNDS AND 2.5 ASSISTS WHILE SHOOTING 42.3% FROM THE FIELD, 38.7% FROM DEEP AND 82.1% FROM THE FREE THROW LINE PER GAME. HE SCORED 611 POINTS, GRABBED 141 REBOUNDS, DISHED OUT 285 ASSISTS, HAD 62 STEALS, BLOCKED 3 SHOTS AND MADE 96 THREES. HE WAS A GRADUATE ASSISTANT AND THE DIRECTOR OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT FOR THE VCU RAMS PRIOR TO BECOMING THE DIRECTOR OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PENN STATE NITTANY LIONS.
