DEE BROWN IS THE HEAD COACH FOR THE ROOSEVELT UNIVERSITY LAKERS IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS IN THE CCAC IN NAIA. HE IS A MEMBER OF THE ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME AND A MEMEBER OF THE INAUGURAL UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS FIGHTING ILLINI ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME. HE WAS THE BIG TEN CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AND DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN 2005 AND THE BOB COUSY AWARD WINNER IN 2006. HE PLAYED PROFESSIONALLY FOR THE UTAH JAZZ IN THE NBA AS WELL AS OVERSEAS. HIS COACHING CAREER INCLUDES BEING AN ASSISTANT COACH FOR THE UIC FLAMES PRIOR TO BECOMING THE HEAD COACH FOR THE LAKERS.
